Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Lead the design team within the building utilities discipline
  • Develop and safeguard technical designs (from concept to detailed engineering)
  • Translate client requirements into integrated installation engineering solutions
  • Coordinate with other disciplines such as process, mechanical, electrical, and automation
  • Review technical design proposals and vendor documentation
  • Coordinate engineering activities and monitor quality, planning, and budget
  • Provide technical support during execution or realization phases
  • Maintain client communication throughout the design process
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in the design and engineering process

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s level education in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or similar
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in the design of building-related installations
  • Experience in cleanroom, pharma, or food projects is a plus
  • Demonstrated experience in multidisciplinary project environments
  • Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or comparable 3D design tools
  • Familiarity with relevant standards and regulations (e.g. NEN, ISO, GMP)
  • Strong communication skills and able to switch effectively between client, team, and management
  • Results-driven, analytical, and capable of setting strategic direction
  • Fluent in both Dutch and English
